Pineapple Summer Burger

Ingredients:

1 lb. grass fed beef

1 tbsp. Organic BBQ sauce

kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

8  pineapple rings (replaces buns)

1  large red onion, sliced into rings

4  slices pepper jack

1 jalapeno sliced (optional)

 

Directions: (makes 4 burgers)

  1. Heat grill to medium-high. In a large bowl, combine ground beef and BBQ sauce and season with pinch of salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Grill patties, pineapple, and red onion.  3 minutes per side. Top burger patties with pepper jack (optional) 
  3. Top bottom pineapple buns with burger patties, grilled onions, then and jalapeno slices (optional)
