It's a Girl!
Congrats to Ali! Not only did she win Season 5 of The Biggest Loser, she's our first Biggest Loser female!
I have said that it isn't about winning a title. The message isn't victory at all costs. The message Ali delivers is one of personal power. A message that says believe in yourself, stay the course, and impossible will become a word with no meaning. Ali's victory is symbolic. It stands for courage in the face of adversity, power when placed in a position of weakness, faith when you have absolutely no reason to believe. Surely, we have all faced inner demons and felt like all odds were against us. We have all failed, fallen down, screwed up...you get my drift. They key is to explore, learn, stay open, and fight. Fight for your right to have everything wonderful life has to offer, no matter in whatever form that may ultimately manifest itself.
So here's to an awesome victory won and to everyone that supported her!
