Hello my lovely friends

I have been thinking of giving up cause since I started i have put on 2kgs :o( I have lost inches on my waist hips etc but I really wanted to see the scales change. I'm sure some of you would be the same ( well I hope i'm not the only one who thinks like that)

It's slightly colder here today so I grabbed a pair of jeans with out noticing they are my uncomfortable skinny jeans and wow was i suprised They FIT and are comfortable WOW Thanks Jillian I was wrong this is working I just need to keep it up and i'm sure the scales will start moving soon.

I looking for a buddy if anyone is interested in kicking me into gear when i need it Please let me know and somehow i wil try and work out how to set up a buddy group.

Hope everyone is having a great day

Daffy

Well at least you are seeing some results! I would be happy to see that. I can't lose weight or inches...I'm so frustrated! I need someone to keep my morale up, so I'd be glad to be a buddy! I've posted a few times on here, and never seem to get any feedback so I'm hoping to hear back.

Thank you thank you for this.  Yes I too have noticed my clothes are looser but the scale has not moved.   I also observed myself in the mirror and I am looking toner.  I have been working at it for a few months now.  It is not all about the scale.  Happy to buddy up with you as I am a new member with no buddies as yet.

If you listen to Jillian and others, you will hear them say that muscle weights more than fat.  You are toning your body and losing inches.  I have lost less than 1 lb per wk in 8 weeks but I did lose almost 2 inches in my waist and look more toned.  My husband has noticed.  I too want to see the weight go down and I believe that will happen if I stick to the routine.  I have laid out a pair of jeans and a red skirt that I want to be able to fit into.  Once a week I try them and it does two things.  It tells me that I am making progress but that I still need to work on.

Keep up the good work!

I am having the same thing happen to me. I first lost 10 pounds in two weeks. then i gained back 4 pounds, but yet my waist and belly keep getting smaller, but the scale seems to discourage me. I really need to invest in a way to measure my waist inches and all that so that I do not get so discouraged. keep it up though, dont give up, never give up!

I'm terrified of that damn scale! I started 2 weeks ago and won't step on it. I'll have to this coming Monday because I'm off to the doctor. All the stats say that people who weigh themselves every day keep their weight off. I just think that's smarter once I'm at my goal? I also notice my jeans lose, and so did my husband, but I'm still terrified of that damn scale!

I am into week four, the first two weeks were great , 8 lbs, the last two weeks I am stuck, the scale is not moving, but I feel better, have lost inches. my problem areas are hips and thighs!!!!

Still working though, just because I am starting to see more muscle evolve! keep at it, you might be suprised when you step on the scale! good luck!

I am not very good at this buddy stuff because I dont have a lot of time to spend on the computer each day but I too need someone to give me some encouragement. so with that said I guess I will be checking back each day.

Keep going it will go down, I had the same thing happen to me at week three.  Think about it.  You are depleting your body's savings account, it naturally thinks you are robbing it of what it worked so hard to store up so it doesn't it want to lose it's savings.  But you are going to make it give it up anyway and the only way is to keep pushing.  YOu can do this, yes you can!

Ok, so I've managed to lose 4 lbs in 4-5 weeks, of eating less than 1500 cals/day and doing the shred routine everyday of the week, and weigh myself today and gained 2.4 lbs. no inches have been lost EVER! So needless to say I need some inspiration. Please, what am I doing wrong?? Anyone??

I understand that muscle weighs more than fat, but did I put on 2.4 lbs of muscle in one week?? I wish I'd lose inches if nothing else:(:(:(
