Hi am very depressed cant stop eating when i get like this tell a little about my self 1995 june i lost my grand son and then in 1996 jan i found out j was expecting a baby but it was etopic and had to have it removed and since then i have up and downs cant stop feline like this is there any one. Else in the same situation

Dear Sandra's, I am so sorry your struggle is so hard!!!!! I also suffer from depression,due to very different reasons,and when it starts to get the best of me,I sometimes can't even get out of bed. I have had sever struggles my entire life,what I will say is this,from what you have written,first thing is go to your doctors and ask for help. Second,maybe look into some therapy. Once you start to deal with what is causing your depression,it should become much easier to get through day to day. Your eating is a coping skill for you. You need to find different ways to cope. I use to drink,a lot,smoke since I was 11yrs old,I'm now 45. Quit smoking 3yrs ago,quit drinking 7yrs. ago,have been in therapy for 8yrs. And am able to get up ,deal with the days differently,work out every single day,and it helps with the eating. It's o.k. To ask for help,but it'll be the hardest thing you do ,and just know,your not alone!!!! I still slip,lots,but,I have outlets. Let's find you some outlets for your depression. I'm here if you need ANYTHING!!!!

I am sorry for your losses.

You're in a great place and community to get healthy!  Is there any exercise you find fun? Zumba, yoga, dancing? I wonder if starting with something like that would get your plan rolling along?
