I work the night shift and was wondering how to adjust my eating schedule to accommodate my weird hours. Can anyone help?

I'm a nurse and also worked swing shifts. I adjusted my eating schedule to my "awake" schedule. I would wake up, work out, have "breakfast". Then planned a healthy "lunch" for around 11pm-1am (depending on when I had time). I also tried having "dinner" but it was hard because I usually ate around 8 am because it helped me sleep. (Something I've been told isn't good).
The biggest trouble I had with night shifts was not getting tempted to snack continually, order out, eat candy, etc. Planning meals helped me with portions and healthy eating. When I was tempted to eat, I would grab water or flavored seltzer.
Hope this helps!
