New and need help with menu

hello I am planning my menu for the week, I am sticking to my plan with substitutes but was wondering...Can I add more veggies or a salad with my dinner?  For example I am doing the Beef & Vegetable Skillet one night, can I add more veggies to the stir fry or a salad on the side?

Also I planned on starting 30 day shred tomorrow...can this replace my workout?

Doing a DVD instead of the workout online should be fine. The key is to get in the exercise and alot of the moves in the dvd are in the online program.  As far as the question about menu. Adding more veggies or salad is fine just make sure that it falls with in your calorie count for the day.  For a salad be aware of the dressing you are putting on it. make sure it clean and not calorie laden.

Hey Coleen,
I'm new too. I have been playing around on the site and saw that under your exercise log, there is a place to select the DVD that you are doing and the level that you are on. It will then calculate the caloric value for you. I hope this helps.
