Setting Goals for Success

Your first step on the road to total health and your best life is simple: You can't achieve success if you are not moving toward something, so before you do anything else, you have to establish both short- and long-term goals. Need some inspiration? Here's what one teammate said about taking it one day at a time and not letting others judge how she eats — she's stuck to her goals!

"Great start taking it one day at a time. That's what I did. I actually tried eating something fried this week and well, let's just say my body rejected it. Once you start eating healthy sometimes, at least for me just walking into a fast food outlet makes you sick. I've seen other people lose weight here at the office only to put it back on. They were wondering why I stopped working out so hard and still lost weight. One of the girls told them it's because I lost it the right way and not by starving myself.

One thing you'll learn as I quickly did — Jillian's program gives you a lifestyle that's easy to adopt. As for myself I got a slow cooker for Christmas so I am trying to find recipes that will allow me to use that and still eat healthy and clean! Anyone have any ideas?" – Rampy D

Way to go Rampy D. Don't let other people's opinions get the best of you! Good for you for adopting a healthier way of life.

He Wants to Gain, I Want to Lose
Q: "My husband want to gain 20 pounds, while I want to lose 30. Will the same diet, with different portion sizes, work for both of our goals, or should we be eating different foods?"
