10 Additives to Avoid

Eating healthy means eating whole, real foods and not chemical crap! As I talked about in my show, here is a list of the ten chemical ingredients to stay clear of.

During my show, I warned you about the harmful effects of processed foods and what to avoid. Be on the look out for these ingredients on the back of your food labels. Do your best to never consume these chemical additives, which are usually found in most fast foods, baked goods, soft drinks, candy, sugar-free foods, fat-free foods, processed meats, nonorganic dairy products and nonorganic fruits and vegetables.

  1. Trans fat, aka hydrogenated oil
  2. High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS)
  3. Artificial sweeteners
  4. Artificial colors
  5. Sodium nitrites and nitrates
  6. Growth hormones
  7. Monosodium glutamate (MSG)
  8. Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHT) and buylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
  9. Antibiotics
  10. Pesticides
