Spring Smoothie Bowls

PITAYA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein  (You guys know I use Alaya Naturals grass fed grass finished whey with BCAA’s)
  • ½ frozen banana, sliced 
  • ¼ cup organic yogurt of choice (almond, coconut, regular) 
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk 
  • ½ 3.5 oz packet frozen pitaya (find it in the freezer aisle next to acai) 

Toppings:

  • Fruit of choice (I like mixed berries, cherries or kiwi)
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. cacao nibs 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth.
  2. Add toppings and enjoy!

 

PIÑA COLADA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein  (I prefer Alaya Naturals grass fed grass finished whey with BCAA’s)
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • ½ cup coconut milk unsweetened
  • 1 Tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes

Toppings:

  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/3 sliced banana (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blend all of the ingredients until smooth.
  2. Add Toppings.

 

SPIRULINA SUPERFOOD SMOOTHIE BOWL

Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS:

Toppings:

  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1 Tbsp. cacao nibs

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth.
  2. Add toppings and enjoy!
