Season 6, Episode 13
The Biggest Loser Recap: The Live Finale!

Now that the players were all done with the sweat and tears on the Ranch, it was time for a night of glam. I got to see the incredible makeovers my Season 6 contestants had undergone since they'd left the Ranch, and I even got see a couple old friends from past seasons. But only one contestant won the title of Biggest Loser...If for some reason you didn't catch the finale, let me run down the results.

Ed or Heba? The Blue Team's only remaining husband-and-wife duo both looked great when they broke through life-size paper images of their former fat selves. But America had already made a decision about which of them would compete for the top prize. Despite Ed's pleading during the last episode for America to vote his wife into the top three, he was the one who won the vote. Heba went on to be one of the at-home contestants.

The Cast-Offs Become Show-Offs: To start off the competition among the at-home contestants, husband-and-wife team Stacey and Adam and father-and-son team Tom Sr. and Tom Jr. came out on stage and stood beside their beginning photos. For having spent only on week at the Ranch, Stacey looked incredible — she lost 65 pounds all on her own! Then came dad Jerry and his beautiful daughter Coleen and the mom-and-daughter duo Shellay and Amy C. Jerry has been the most unhealthy player in Biggest Loser history, but last night Dr. Huizenga stood up in the audience and praised him for the amazing and inspiring progress he's made. When Jerry stepped on the scale, he proved it, having lost 115 pounds. He took the lead from Stacey, but then Amy C. and Shellay (who both looked gorgeous and svelte, I might add) stepped on the scale. Amy beat out her mom by losing 104 pounds. Next up was husband Phil — whom I didn't even recognize at first! — and his wife Amy P., who looked smokin' hot in her little red dress. Then came out a completely slimmed down Brady and a glamorous and sleek Renee. Phil lost an outstanding 151 pounds, but his wife barely beat him by losing even an even higher percentage of total body weight. She had the top spot until the very end, when Heba weighed in with an incredible 138-pound loss and won the $100,000 prize. It was jaw-dropping to see each one of those players' phenomenal progress.

And on to the Winner: Before Ed's co-finalists Vicky and Michelle were revealed, we got to see a video glimpse of what all three had gone through at home. Ed, a professional chef who was constantly surrounded by delicious and fatty foods, struggled with temptation. Vicky was solely focused on working out and had a hard time finding a balance between the gym, work, and being with her kids. Michelle was eating more healthfully with her family and working out every day to give it all she had before this finale. Then it was time for the big reveal — Vicky looked fantastic, but could barely walk in those heels she had on! My girl Michelle looked adorable and so tiny in her little dress — absolutely amazing! Ed went first on the scale and put up 139 pounds for the season. Vicky went next; she needed to have lost 102 pounds to beat Ed, and she came up just shy with 101 pounds. Last but certainly not least, Michelle got up on the scale and blew everyone away. She has gone from 242 to 132 pounds — a total of 110 pounds lost! So it was a Pink and Black Team winner again! Michelle is now the second woman in Biggest Loser history to win the top prize and walk away with $250,000. Words can't quite explain how proud I am of her...she's a true inspiration to all of us!

This season might be over, but Season 7 is coming right up! It's the BIGGEST season ever — the 22 contestants weigh a total of 3.5 tons. That's a lot of weight to lose, and you know a lot of drama that will unfold along the way. It all starts January 6th on NBC!
