The Biggest Loser Recap: Nobody Puts My Girls in a Corner

With Thanksgiving approaching, the players focused on all they had to be thankful for. The former Blue Team was psyched about their numbers advantage, and mother-and-daughter duo Michelle and Renee, formerly of my Black Team, were grateful to have remained in the game together for this long. But just being thankful wasn't going to keep them there. Here's what went down over the week.

When the NFL Comes Knocking...As you know, Thanksgiving isn't just Turkey Day — it's also practically a national football holiday. To mark the occasion, Alison showed up in a football jersey and announced that it was NFL week on the Ranch. She led the players outside, where Super Bowl MVPs Steve Young and Jerry Rice were waiting for them. The famed players had set up an obstacle course like those used in pro football training, and they explained that they would time each player's run through the course. One by one, the players went through all the intense running, catching, and tackling drills. When everyone got through the course, Jerry and Steve revealed the twist — the contestants weren't done. They had to run the course again and compare their two time results. The player to improve the most would win the prize: $10,000 to donate to the school of his or her choice. Vicky, who'd anticipated that there might be a second run, had taken it easy the first time around, so she shaved the most time off her first result and took the prize.

Lining Them Up and Knocking Them Down: This week's challenge also had a football theme — the players were brought to a football field and outfitted with jerseys emblazoned with their names and the number of pounds they'd lost so far. The players stood at one end of the field, and at the other end stood racks with their names on them. Footballs were pitched from a machine toward the players, and they had to catch them, run over to the other end of the field, and place them in someone else's rack. When a player received ten footballs, he or she was out. Naturally, the former Blue Team members (who clearly didn't think of themselves as former teammates at all) ganged up on my girls, and they were the first two to go. After that, Amy C. knocked out Ed, while Vicky targeted Amy C. In the end it was down to Vicky and Heba, and Vicky hustled to knock Heba out and claim the prize: a trip to Hawaii to see the Pro Bowl. As a HUGE football fan, Vicky was more than psyched to win.

A Healthy Stuffing, and a Healthier Beating: Later in the week, the players got another visit from celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito, who showed them how to cook a healthier Thanksgiving meal. As they sat down to dinner and enjoyed the fruits of their labor, they talked about the things they were thankful for. I'm not sure if Michelle and Renee were thankful that I wasn't beating them at that precise moment...but they should have been. Because when it was time for that last-chance workout, I didn't show them ANY mercy. The only way they were going to stand up to the bullying Blue Team was to stay above that yellow line — and I was ready to make them sweat blood if I had to. They lived to see the weigh-in...but just barely.

Weigh-in and Elimination: And what a weigh-in it was. When I saw Ed drop nine pounds and Vicky and Heba both drop seven, I was praying for a Hail Mary for my girls. And did they ever come through with one — Renee lost eight pounds, and Michelle dropped TEN! (That was over 5 percent of her body weight, by the way.) With those amazing numbers, they threw Amy C. and Heba below the line. The players went straight to the elimination room, where Renee and Amy voted for Heba, keeping a promise they'd made to Amy C. two weeks ago when she voted fellow Blue Teamer Brady off the Ranch. The vote was a no-brainer for Heba's husband Ed, who chose Amy C. to keep his wife in the game. Vicky had a tougher choice, since both girls were a threat to her and she'd promised them both she wouldn't vote them off. In the end, she voted for Amy C., forcing a tie that sent Amy home because she'd lost the lowest percentage of body weight. But back at home in Detroit, Amy's down to a size 8, and she's never been more confident!

Next Week: The players will be whisked off to New York City for a total makeover and a big reveal on The Tyra Banks Show! You don't want to miss their incredible transformations — be sure to tune in to NBC next Tuesday night!
